Spring ii
By neha bhat
a plant grows little by little with sprouting of its each leaf creepers rise with their tender shoots engulfing the parent plant... red, blue, green, white burgeoning boquets of flowers abound around... water sprinkled forming dew drops on the surface its coolness touching the bare feet... as we walk along... bees drone, birds chirp sun shines in magnanimous beauty a lazy dog rests under the water tap... trying to rid himself of the heat... the guzzling water cooling him off. wafting smell of freshly grown mint, abound in our human periphery... squirrels run-- helter skelter... one tree to another, one plant to the other; their race continues. jumping, falling, scurrying away. and in my house, on my table i sit writing this. and welcoming spring in my own way.well it is titled spring II as i already have written poem on spring earlier.... neha Written March 26th, 2002 © on Mar 26 2002 02:17 PM PST 0 • 10
