destruction of innocense

By Night singer

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Silently a child sits in the woods, Watching the animals run and frolic, Listening to the breeze, As it moves its way through the trees. A squirrel runs past and up the tree under which she sits. She stares off into the distance, The same squirrel falls, headless and twiching into her lap. The child jumps to her feet, and is greeted by fangs and claws Trying to scream she starts to run, no avail. Only sixteen years old, (a brief and meaningless exsistence) Claws ripp into her innocent flesh, still soft with youth Her ribcage is shattered as her still-beating heart is torn from her chest Before darkness consumes the child, she looks down to see broken bones and pulsating orgins in the few remaining moments before she passes She feels him in her dying young cunt, She fades from exsistance. Why would this attrocity be committed Because we can! Sleep well, for tommorow you may die Written March 4th, 2002 © on Mar 04 2002 07:23 AM PST   10 • 0
