Destiny

As I look at this bare room, I think of old times. Times of joy, Times of happiness. But what of today? The telephone rings, The door is knocked, But still I feel So alone. Life is filled with a certain sterile friendliness, Smiles are smiled, And lies are lied, With no difference. Nature patiently waits to be abused, At least she admits her faults. Will they never stop Till extinction? Could anybody move the furniture Back into this room. Written January 16th, 2002 © on Jan 16 2002 05:34 AM PST   0 • 10
