Reflections Of You
By oomasangels
Today I saw a sun set not with my eyes but with my heart and I felt the beauty of Gods glorious creation, and as I felt this beauty inside, I could see in myself reflections of you. Today I cried a tear as I saw the story of an abandon and abused child on the news, and as I felt the tear roll down my cheek and felt the pain for this poor child, I saw in myself reflections of you. Today I imagined a wonderful story and as my fingers glided across the keyboard and as the words poor onto the page with such great feeling and ease, I saw in myself reflections of you . Today I felt a great and undying love and understanding for my children so deep and so true that there could never be any thing more wonderful than this feeling, and I saw in myself reflections of you. Today I believed in some one and new that no matter what happened that they were going to be fine, and as I found myself knowing that this was the way it would be, I saw in myself reflections of you. Today I saw the goodness in some one and trusted and believed in them, and as I felt the joy in this, I saw in myself reflections of you. Today I know that I am loved and that some how every thing is going to be fine, and I know that I will be fine, because today I know that I am a reflection of you and all the knowledge and love and caring and guidance you have shown me and given me. My mind is simply a reflection of what you have taught me my eyes see the things you have shown me and my heart reflects the love you have bestowed upon me and received from me. What kind of reflection might I have had if not for the wonderful hand of fate guiding you to be the father of such a invisible lost little girl. I really cant say what it might have been, I just thank God for allowing me to have such a beautiful reflection as yours. © on Jul 02 2001 03:18 PM PST 0
