Fear
By pamambach
Hearing him from a distance she runs to hide, safely to abide. Intentions unknown, she trembles with fear, she cowers deeper into the corner so near. Sweat covered body, he has her now, she must get away, she must, somehow. Scream, she think suddenly, yes scream, that will do, then someone will come, and find you. Piercing, wailing at the top of her lungs she screams in hope, to save her life. His grip does not even begin to weaken, as her mind wanders, to the distant beacon. With what would be her last breath, she offered a sigh, And he lay her down on the floor to die. Written September 2nd, 2001 © on Dec 26 2001 12:24 PM PST 10 • 0 • 1
