Forgetfulness

By Pat G

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Should traverse once succeed would soft luster wait me there so akin to oyster's gleam as that tiny breath of air that stirs those fluted notes cross the strings of Aeolean to the sleep of David's dreamInspired by a verse written by a poet by the unlikely name of Stumpy: His verse goes as follows: And should traverse succeed would luster be awaiting akin' an Oyster's special gleaning or upon fluted notes of an Aeolean harp be carried into forgetfulness.
