Twilight's Ease
By Pat G
So comes the soothing dusk to summer's day Just past the fiery brush of sun's display We seek the early evening's cooling ease the gentle temperate hush of twilight's breeze. Beyond the heated rush of work-a-day such nourishment that loosens knots away. We murmur words once whispered on spring winds He clings to me; and I, I cling to him.Bo and I have been married 32 years. We've weathered all those years together and now past spring and at summer's end we settle into autumn. Written December 2nd, 2001 © on Dec 01 2001 05:31 PM PST, Pat Grantt 0 • 8
