Boredom

By Paul B

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Boredom the deadly sin Grabs me, holds me, I’m caught within. Satisfaction the deadly curse Of bourgeois existence, Suburbia nights And things far worse. The mundane, the ordinary Just enough but never  full A wicked net For placid fish Paradise for a fool Save me from a lethargic dream A trance, a coma. Nightmare of peaceful wish Written December 12th, 2001 © on Dec 12 2001 09:22 AM PST   20 • 0 • 1
