We're back here again In the land Oppressed by silence. He rules. He Could never be a she. He descends. Wings of bubble wrap Bear him to us He tightens his grip We can hear the hum of him. Almost a whistle If we listen too hard He has a vicious roar But it cannot be heard He is a distant cry But is anyone there to verify He is the enemy of peace Because he is too self aware He is the acknowledgement Of self And of nothingness He is the downside He is the prison He is the end He is silence He is the void He is too many thoughts He is self analysis He is the inner army He turns me against me He is the barrier between me and sleep He is the keyring She clings to To keep me away To keep me staring into the void Trying to find her He is the blur He is....
