Another World
By Pleasure
Another World Together we created a world of love and romance With emotions so strong and deep With pain and sorrow, light and dark, strength and loneliness Guilt and grief. We built a world of dreams and devotion Of fairy tales and palaces of gold And this is where we lived. But as time weaved it magic wand Everything grew dim and lost its shimmer The fairies wings and dragon’s claws All started to lose their glimmer. When the romance lost its hope And reality set in We found ourselves in another world A place we’d never been. Together we cannot survive In a world of sorrow and greed With mundane jobs and crimes of the devils seed. So now we are each in another place Loving each other more because of our grief A move we had to make Because it was the only way to hold on to the dreams And romance, the love and magic of our existence. Now, our hearts can feel the pleasure Of having lost a love so strong Of knowing beyond the mortal truth Where we truly belong. But in each others arms, we lose ourselves To love and romance, to loneliness and grief So one day we will test our faith To love see if it still exists But not in this world, because we belong to another A place of joy and pleasure A place of magic and fairies breathe, of dragons and castles And love beyond measure A place that’s true and honest With golden dreams and endless nights of surrender and pleasure One day I will see you there and we will know That we have lived and loved, and been and seen all that we desire For I will always be your queen and you my only sire… Written January 30th, 2002 © on Jan 30 2002 06:31 AM PST 0 • 8
