Falling Armor

By plumbgrl15

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Come find me in the middle of my memories I'll be alone waiting there for you. All you'll have to do is walk through my invisible wall of all who've come before. I'll try to put up a fight but I'll fall for my weakness is in your hands. I don't want to fight a battle I won't win, I'm not equipped with a heart that strong anymore. maybe it's time for me to lay aside my sword and let myself be consumed, I only hope I'm ready for a love with no armor.
