Black Hearts
By poet0angel
Why did you do this to me? Rip my heart into pieces, turning it shades of black. I would climb the tallest mountain for you, as to you would push me back down it. My heart was thrown on the floor, but you would just walk on by it. Shattered like a mirror and burnt like the wick of a candle, my emotions were of no love, no more. All I felt was raging waves of a storm in my head. An anger that was black as night. On a street all alone, forgotten and replaced. Revenging patterns ran through my mind, I just could not control. To this day I look back and I just want to know. Why did you do this to me? Written August 18th, 2001 © on Aug 18 2001 12:03 PM PST 0 • 1
