Prayer of Sin

By poet0angel

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Forgive me, for I have sinned. You pray this every night. Yet, tomorrow you sin again. Forgive me. I pray, for money, love, and beauty. But tomorrow you sin again. Abusing the world with words. Cursing the innocent. But still you pray? Tomorrow you sin. As you lay on your death bed, you pray your guilty prayer one last time. This time nobody listens. And tomorrow, never comes.
