he knew it was time to gosuch little time on this cruel earththe crowd grew stillas he stumbled with a wooden crosstwo times his sizehis side swollen and gauged from spearsthat wounded his holy skinand his beautiful face distorted from thornsthat punctured holes on his headand the people that loved him most criedJesus...Jesusas their savior made his way to Calvaryand each step each sineach tear washed awaythe anger and evil of mantaking the weight of so much sin to fold it into one line 'Will you take him as your personal savior?'I would, even then, I wouldand in a dream I runpushing the people out the way to claim himshouting and daring anyoneto  but modest, so modesthe allowed his body to be stretched as they hammered holesin his hands bigger than then there heartand as his hung looking toward the heavens'Why has thou forsaken me'and the many stories, lectures yet come will never come close to the pain Jesus felt so heavenlyso beautifullywhat he did for you and for me Written November 26th, 2001 © on Nov 25 2001 10:55 PM PST   0 • 8
