Edgar The Eager Beaver Edgar the eager beaver was a great building achiever. Then, he got terribly lazy with a thought 'twas so crazy, he became a scheming conceiver. For he knew of an easier way, to make others work as he'd play. Using twisted tongued flattery, he tempted them with bribery, here's what happened the next day. Edgar had a little bit of skill, yet from apathy he made a raw deal, in conning others with their lack, their work went way off track, from there things went downhill. Edgar was sleeping nice and warm, there come upon them a big storm, The Dam came a crumbling down, Edgar was flushed out and he drowned, Other beavers saw time for a new form. The story has a significant morale, that is to do only your best now, be truthful only to who you are, someday you will go very far, this is what I know somehow. Or like Edgar's example you'll be, struggling for life in a deep sea.
