I Shall Abide- Christian Poem! *Inspired of Saint Paul~ Ph 4, 13 "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Life's tornadoes rage, barreling down Adversaries, many may be lurking around My state at times, feeling not so sound, In Thee, I shall abide. Grief may strike, it's relentless pain My name and character, slung and slain' Evil ways seem often to reign, In Thee, I shall abide. My heart could be torn and my spirit, low I'll never know when there comes a blow But this is sure, we reap what we sow, In Thee, I shall abide. Poverty and calamity might swamp me o'er I may hate things I've never seen before Death's cold breath could knock at my door, In Thee, I shall abide. ***** Poetic Fanatic ***** Thomas F.
