*Proud* *Song to the Tune Of L. Greenwood's God Bless The U.S.A. From early morning sunrise, to the soft dews of the eve; From the Dawn of time itself, God had a plan to relieve- ev'ry oppression imagined, His Son, drinking of the cup; was one price only given, His own life, He's given up. I'm proud to be a Christian, there's no other way for me I won't forget the man who died, who gave this right to me and I'll gladly stand up, confess your name, defend it all, my days, cause there ain't no doubt, how I love this man, God Bless that One who saves. Each of us were His rival, yet He still loved us so much. He longs patiently to draw, of embracing His loving touch. There's nothing that is required, but full loving in return, show ev'ry wayward brother, so each one will have learned- I'm proud to be a Christian, it's the only way for me. I won't forget Jesus Christ, who gave this right to me and I'll gladly stand up and praise your name, honor it all, my days, cause there ain't no doubt, how I love this man, God Bless that Son who saves. I'm proud to be a Christian, there's no other way for me. I won't forget the man who died, who gave this right to me and I'll gladly stand up, confess your name, defend it all, my days, cause there ain't no doubt, how I love this man, God Bless that One who saves.
