~The Tree~
Jen said anyone can joinin a write for the challenge. Tommy ~The Tree~ Light, Dark, Good, Evil, This tree lied in the middle- Among the midst of the Divine, in the presence of the devil, such beauty and oh so deadly, sweet fruit to open the eyes enlightening woes to the wise. Enchantment was emtrampment, mystery of magestic wonder, waiting quietly, the serpent, he hated this tree and the man- In his insanity, he had a plan, mesmerize, tantalize and surprise this creature God loves so much- "I'll be clever with his mate, she'll get his heart to touch, he'll taste such a sweet death as my victory's his last breath". He approaches as a wise guide, abiding in his puffed up pride who spoke putting truth aside. The woman falls in to the snare, she's enthralled, not to care, delicious to her mouth inside, her mind becomes opened wide. In her haste and fascination, she brings man the temptation, Satan laughs, at this creation. The man takes, dares and bites, it's the end of his dark nights as light brightens in his mind, his wisdom reaches new heights, something's so wrong he exclaimed! "Why are we naked, it's a shame" this is not what was claimed. God was walking in the paradise, where is the man, my son hiding? The man and his mate were wise, but with God they kept confiding. "Here we are, we knew too clear, naked we were, so we feared. God knew when they appeared: Inquiring: "Hast thou eaten, the tree, the one that takes your immortality? Now your eyes shall surely see, the promise must come assuredly". The man said, "the woman you gave me, persuaded and I ate of the tree I confess, now my life's in Thee". "What hast thou done woman to thee? Now, you too will see in certainty. My promise must soon come to pass" and she replied, her eyes in aghast: "The serpent coerced, I was deceived, I'm sorry for with him, I believed and I compelled my husband to receive". God stated "I curse you all, your days" adversity will block each of thy ways- Eating dust, the rest of your life, spoken unto the serpent of this strife. Unto the people was said, in deep sorrow, "Now you live, but you'll die tomorrow. Meanwhile, here I curse for your sakes". And that's what doubting God stakes. ***** Poetic Fanatic ***** Written April 15th, 2002 © on Apr 14 2002 08:03 PM PST, Thomas Crumpler 0 • 13
