What X-mas Means To Me
What X-mas Means To Me Gather the money altogether, race to every single store. Chase for every endeavor, you'll have to pursue more. Buy presents by the dozens. Wrap them all frantically. Think of all your subjects, it's a true manic insanity. Lay that plastic down, the money's already spent. When January comes around, you can deal with the dent. Don't forget about the tree, to light up and to amaze, your friends and family; That's the way, these days. Time now for celebrating, food, gifts, some alcohol. Spread cheer all in the air, laughing loudly through it all. Another year quickly passes, the festivity is not done, because hunger in the masses, still crave the magic fun. "Should old aquaintenance be forgot", we will all sing the song. One thing I failed to pen of, if this is Christmas, my friend... THEN WE ARE ALL WRONG! Something seems forgotten here, do any of you have a clue? Oh yes, of course, Santa Clause! Funny, that I forgot you. Now, are we complete? I think I covered everything. We each have sore aching feet, but all of our hearts sing. What happened to Jesus Christ? Oh, his name was erased. This is all about X-mas, tears each year probably fall... down His disappointed face. I saw a billboard a while recently, "Keep Christ in Christmas this season" Everything else is ludicrousy- He's the reason for the season. ***** Poetic Fanatic ***** Thomas F.
