Who Knows It All
*This poem is based upon Christian Principles. If you read this line by line, you will do very fine Tommy I do not know what tomorrow may bring, tears, troubles, trials and everything. What surprises does it hold, me in store, Will I stand or could I fall to the floor? I will not worry though it might look grim- For I know it's needed to have faith in Him, the one I turn to when I'm feeling so small because I know someone who knows the One... Who knows it all. I don't know how long this earth will stand, will our children reach maturity in this land? How well will we prevail in our terror war? Will the world see what we are fighting for? I will not fret if we are on the edge's brim, because I want to continue in trusting Him, the one I approach when, no one else is to call because I know someone who knows the One... Who knows it all. I don't know why we must suffer from pain, why people seem to lose again and again; Why so much terrible evil appears to consume, extinguishing life's light to cover with gloom. I don't know how hot that hell would burn or of the day... Jesus Christ could return, I wait for clues instead of staring at my wall because I know someone who knows the One... Who knows it all. I don't know the difference, your heart from mine. I can't see what happiness you're looking to find. I have no answers, why you're drowning in doubt, but I do see the necessity, we can't live without; For these things are clear to my life with my eyes, when I need to know, only One is truly wise; Not to keep you guessing, let every chip fall, because I know someone who knows the One... Who knows it all. ***** Poetic Fanatic ***** Thomas F. Crumpler © 2,001 November 04 Written November 4th, 2001 © on Apr 16 2002 05:19 PM PST, Thomas Crumpler 0 • 13
