I Think I'm A Clone Now

By PoeticKnight

Well, three or four years backI read an article ‘bout some catThat a bunch of scientists had gone and cloned. And I kinda’ took a likin’ to the story,Thought I’d head on down to that laboratoryTo see just what was goin’ on.The guy at the desk made a funny face,Said, “Aww, I guess you can take a tour of the place;Just don’t touch nothin’ that looks expensive.” So I walked around ‘till I saw a signThat said, ‘Cloning: Room Number Nine.’And I was thinkin’, “Oh boy! This is goin’ be intensive!”The room was full of white-cloaked dudesWho where starin’ through ‘scopes and lookin’ at tubes,And I heard one say, “Lets clone this fish!”And then I noticed this little plastic trayWith a label that said, ‘DNA’,And well I sorta’ sneezed into the dish…9 months latterNow those scientists were all pretty shakenWhen Peggy the Piranha gave birth to a homo-sapien And I wasn’t about to tell ‘em why.But it worked out better than you’d thinkCause they started tellin’ the press all ‘bout the missin’ linkAnd now Opra has a special on it all the time.
