Your Apathy, My Apathy (a note to parents of teenagers of today)

your apathy my apathy all of us could care less what each other thinks no matter how many times i justify myself all you can come up with is "because i said so" or "because we want you home tonight" we never do anything anyway no matter what you always come up with something so incredibly stupid can you not tell we are totally different? can you not tell that i dont like you? it doesn't matter if you were a teenager once times have changed do you not understand that? your closemindedness annoys the living hell out of me what makes you happy is that i'm alive and endure no physical harm but you dont understand what goes on inside you never will you may think it's just a phase you may think it's just because i'm a teenager age doesn't matter no matter what you do and who you are your excuses, so ignorant and stupid you will never understand we will never think alike we agree on things so common but we'll never come to terms with the things we always argue about although you've much experience it makes you blind to other's reality i wish you could understand and maybe one day we can talk and have an intelligent and interesting conversationmy parents annoy me... they are too closed minded to understand what we argue about and what i feel and what i am going through... it doesn't matter if they were a teenager before, they don't live as a teenager in today... and to all you parents out there who are reading this, please understand that your child will be a teenager one day if they aren't now and the best thing you can do is support them and try to understand them and not let ignorance and closed minded, self righteous shallowness get in the way...
