The Day of Despair

By rananabepublic

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Weeping, mourning, praying These are just a few emotions that are pouring. Planes flying aimlessly to destroy Humanity and American Freedom A faceless coward Walking bodies covered in dust Clouds of ashes filling the sky Are just a few of the terrible scenes Stuck in our minds Life is fragile and indifferent to death Why must society try maliciousness? What does it accomplish? Broken hearts, shattered families, and cracked memories For all have been affected. Declaration’s of Liberty and Allies Have been established Making the United States not crushed, But stronger, more spirited, and together This is our Day of Triumph As we will prove victorious And show the terrorists that the United States Will not give up, but persevere through the toughest of times.
