My eyes look upon a book Tales of a life less wanted It speaks to me from above It shouts to me from below I pick it up, emotion powerful Standing in the rain it calls Write in me, be with me, love me I sit in the falling water crying its lust for my thoughts grow I wrote of many things that night of wild romance and my hearts delight but most of all a life less wanted a life of hurt, of pain, and fear Taking up MY book I run to the corner To write about my latest fear in detail Of my hopes and dreams along with that To write in this book is to truely live Written February 27th, 2002 © on Feb 27 2002 11:17 AM PST   18 • 0 • 10
