Oh Sweet World...

By ray of light

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Oh sweet world, what have you turned into? Oh sweet world, what have you done to yourself? A world, once so sweet and charming, Has now become so hard and harming. People, You must open your blind folds for once and see, Hatred and anger blankets the earth. Who says that you are intelligent creatures? You are greedy and selfish than anyone else can be. So if you notice anything with your five senses, Why not hold things back? Why to sink with the world? You must save it from drowning into the dark. You are responsible for what you have created, No one else can help. Why not plant peace and harmony, And the create the garden of happiness? Why not pluck hatred and anger, And destroy sadness.     SO Come people, you must join hands, Forget the color we are. You must feel the power of strength, You must leave weakness far. Come people, you must joing together, irrespective of what cast we are. You must feel the freshness of love, You must leave hatred far. Come people, You must re-discover Earth, Forget not the world today. You must feel the purity of peace, You must make anger stray. Come people, You must unite together, It's the right time to do so. You must change the eternal truth for good. You must make the world a different place, Tell God that you are good. You must eraze the dirt from your hands, By making the world pure. You must mend the Earth with your own heart, You must bury the violence for sure. You must let the sweet world be born again, It's the right time to do so. You must not hard God's creation, He spent time in making it. You must spend time, to bring it back, To what it once used to be. The bright sunshine shining at you, Still telling to amend your faults. The little color left in the world, Is telling you to take the right path. You must forget the directions of war and hatred, You must read the map to find love. Written July 6th, 2001 © on Jul 05 2001 09:06 PM PST   0 • 13
