A Fiend I'll Never Forget

By rebeccajane

This person is special to me, And I was her friend in need, When I was upset and a frown appears, She says,  “C’mon you’ll see” When we played together, We’d laugh and shout with glee, We never had a fall out, But glad with Company She was always happy and never sad, A hippy some may say, I will always like her as she was, As I knew her every day With long blond hair, eyes that shined, Tall and slim and kind, I see the light that now shines, Our friendship was never timed, On the weekend Sam her dog, He’d greet me at the gate, She would ask me if I’d clean him? I would say,  “got to go I’m late” Her mum was nice and beautiful, Her dad was gentle and kind, They were the nicest people, That you could ever find! She’s gone now and never coming back, I never saw her after that, We had so much in common, But you I’ll never forget           Rebecca Jane         -------x------- © on Dec 14 2001 12:46 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
