Angel solo

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Angel flying o'er the ground so low, as you flew overhead your wings brushed my soul. I wondered if you had a place there for me, I thought in good time, the answer I'd see. You did not land here, but you landed somewhere. I was hoping to get, my chance to with you share. But where you did land, it is plain to see, you landed near him and not here with me. With him, is I wonder, where you will stay, or will your time come that you fly away. And if this you do, will there come a day, that you fly to me and for a while stay. If so, may that while be a lifetime. Written December 25th, 2001 © on Dec 25 2001 06:14 AM PST   0 • 12
