Best Love Yet

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

What if the best love we have ever experienced is yet to come? What if the best of days were but moments away, though we could not even see? I'll bring to you these gifts in my hand, won't you please take them from me? Imagine if you will, all the beauty of the world wrapped into a ball, the one that I'd toss your way, and that's just the beginning, for I have so much more, that would entice you and then make you stay. Unity of commitments unbroken, sincerely steadfast in conviction, unshakable in this belief of our love forever undying, of these things I do speak, can I please provide them to thee? Frollic with me through this game we call life, as we learn to play it so well, and in the next million eaons it is, that time, of our love, it will tell.
