Coming Home - a tribute to 911victims
You're not coming home, are you, for it's not within your power? You went to work today, never to return. And had you known your end was at hand, would you have said to me more than you did as you walked out our door? Would you have held me longer, tighter, closer to your heart, in our last good bye? For I wish that I had held you in my arms so tight and not let you go, but how were we to know, you'd be taken away, used as a pawn, in some kind of sick battle, between misguided souls? Two sides to a story, and which one is right? They bomb and we bomb, as it comes to full circle, but can the answers be found in a cloud of smoke, and the blood of the innocent? The answer to that, I believe to be no. So, as I wait for your return, which is never to be, I'll hold you in my heart, ever so tightly as never to let go of the memory of you, until the day comes that we're together again.Posted this on 9/13/01 but just added these photos.
