Crescent Moon

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

We broke bread by crescent moon's light, crescent moon on high up in the sky, as was the dream of us, in our hearts. We walked and talked and held and shared from the heart that night. And we danced, as you I whirled and twirled, and spun round, your feet barely touching the ground, while a crescent smile we wore, you and I, our hearts filled with the joy and laughter of living, and the love of life in each one the other together. And our night did end, but others there will be, and closer and freer we shall become, each one's heart to the other, I pray. Written October 12th, 2001 © on Oct 12 2001 04:19 AM PST   0 • 8
