Crumbling Dreams

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Dreams of you crumble at my feet, for I know they will never be, but they were so beautiful, that I hate to see them go. They filled my heart with hope, and feelings that there a chance could be, that love might fill it once more, but it was not to be. Now I have an empty space where once resided these dreams no more, as cherished as they were. The pictures of you in my arms, live on in my heart, but light of day, shall see them not. All things that you need be your, this is my wish for you, as in this world, once again, your place, you have found. Written February 5th, 2002 © on Feb 05 2002 02:28 AM PST   0 • 10
