Exactly Like You

In case your wondering what I did today I bowed down my head and I began to pray I ask of the father if there is a way to help understand why you had to go away I ask if he could help me start my live anew with someone else different exactly like you exactly like you in all but one way you see I needed a love that won't go away And I ask that for you he would do the same and wash away our tears and give no one blame and accept our losses in a graceful way and find someone new that wouldn't run away, from the trials, and tribulation, that we face everyday our imperfections, and mistakes that all humans make like the mistakes we made that got in love's way and I ask help to do better with somebody new and not chase them away just like I did you. because I know that I'm good enough and I do deserve love I still pray that he'll send it from heaven about I believe that he heard as I did pray and I believe that he'll answer but in his own way He knows from my heart, for these things I ask And it is not unrealistic to find a true heart that lasts and anyway, I think he has a soft spot in his heart for me Written September 4th, 1999 © on Dec 04 2001 01:23 AM PST   0 • 12
