Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Eagle flying high on wing, how I love to hear your voice sing, just beneath the clouds you fly, as your wingspan nearly fills the sky, Oh, majestic master of the winds, of our country, your image does defend, power and grace you do portray, and the freedom of the American way.I wrote this one from an open challenge. Challenge Description: Write a poem about an Eagle in flight. "I have been bird watching the bald eagles as they visit my river town this month. These majestic birds soaring on high, what a sight to see." Written January 18th, 2002 © on Jan 18 2002 01:31 AM PST   0 • 10
