Hopefully fallen

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I have hopefully fallen for you, that is what I will call it. "Hopelessly fallen" just won't fit, for my hope, it will not quit. I'm holding out, I'm hanging on, onto a dream, of you and I, wondering if this dream will ever see it's day, praying that it will, in a time all so soon. From a million miles high I have fallen and landed at your feet. From heaven I did fall, and in heaven I have landed. Fly with me for a lifetime, as we soar on high, above the world below. Pale in comparison, will seem earthly loves below, next to this heavenly romance, and the lovers will look to the skies, and see we there, wings beating, in perfect rhythm with our heart. Two first class tickets to paradise, in my hand, I hold, there for you and I. Won't you join me, if you dare, to reach for these stars.
