I dare you

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

No one could love you like I would, no way, nowhere, nohow. No one could hold you like I would, no closer, no stronger, no more trenderly. No one would be there for you like I would, here and now and always and forever. No one could eat you alive like I would, up one side and down the other, daily. Feed me your love everlasting, til time, it is no more. We will feast on this love as the sugars, they flow and this hunger, it is satisfied, if only for a while. Yes, no one could love you like I would, Just give me the chance to prove it to you, if you can, if you will, I dare you. Written January 15th, 2002 © on Jan 15 2002 01:08 AM PST   0 • 8
