I still see your smile

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Ten years now you have been gone from this world, but never from my heart. You are in my thoughts everyday, my heart would have it no other way. As I write these words to you, my vision is a blur, for the tears, they flow so freely. I can still see your smile, fighting its way through your pain. I can still remember the lessons you taught, always will, could never forget, their value does endure. You may be the only one who knows me better than I know myself, for so much of me came from you. I reach out to hold your hand, if only in my mind, and I am once again surrounded in a blanket of comfort. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Happy birhtday Mom..........
