In the palm of your hand

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I wondered if you knew, you hold my heart in the palm of your hand? I really think you do, by the gentle way you touch, and hold it close to yours, and the way you make me feel, that I really matter to you, and you apreciate who and what I am. And I do the same too you, for that's how you make me feel, when we talk and touch and share. To find a sharing woman, in the day and age of a material world how lucky could I be? A life times worth of future, one day at a time I see for you and for me should we be so lucky LUCK: (laboring under the correct knowledge) I think we both have luck on our side, and the will to be the best that we can be. So where have you been all my life? I guess that really does not matter, for I know where you now stand, close by my side, my dream come true. I feel that we both have the correct knoweldge, and what a rare thing, so luck is no doubt on our side. So happy am I that my heart is "In the palm of your hand"Some old joy.
