Long distance school boy crush

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I know you know I like you, I think you like me too. But you are there and I am here, so what are we to do. Can I blow a kiss that far, and wink a time or two, see if my arms can reach around the world and grab a hold of you. Our hearts have made a connection, this much is plain to see, but while you are there and I am here, how can this love ever be? To never hold you or taste your kiss, my heart, it knows, just what is missed. To not run my fingers through your hair, to not smell your scent, filling the air. To not lay beside you in our bed and show you how I feel. I reach out for you and grab thin air, but I can just not touch you, cause you're not here. So I'll be holding you in my heart, my love. ~~~~~~ Cheers, and "Happy New Year" Written December 31st, 2001 © on Dec 31 2001 01:55 AM PST   0 • 10
