Me (goofy warning)

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Why, just the other day a friends asked me who my favorite singer is, and I told her "Me...." Then she asked what my favorite song is and I said, of course, "me me me me meeeeee...." then she asked me what my favorite painting was and I said, "a mirror with the refection of me..." Then she said "so, you're a little egocentric, aren't you"? and I said "No, I am a modest person, and my modesty is exceeded only by my greatness." It ain't easy being me.....I was working on the weekend. (slow day) and one of my workmates ask me what my favorite movie of all times was and she got me started. I then had a goofy attack and this little piece is what happened. That'll teach her:) Written January 6th, 2002 © on Jan 06 2002 03:13 AM PST   0 • 12
