Nectar (? R rated ?)

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I am but a man reaching for this dream with an everlasting thirst, thirsting for your love. Your sweet nectar, heaven on my tongue, satisfying my hunger, if only for a moment, until back again I come, time after time. I feed on your sweet love as down low I go, my appetite for you demands it. I am a big bear in your honey pot, lapping it up to the last drop, won't leave until my belly's full. My need is finally met, if only for the day, the hour, the minute, the second. But what is this? Prepare and make way, for my hunger, it returns.
