New Chapter Come to Me

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

New Chapter come to me, for this one, it does end. The words no longer come, the pages, they are blank, Their emptiness fills my soul with nothingness profound. An endless trip to nowhere, no beginning and no end and when I finally got there I learned I was alone. The position of my heart makes it no more or less that what it is, broken, bleeding, weeping. New Chapter come to me, and bring to me the tears to wash away this pain. Old Chapter born of hope, now filled with the pain of empty promises please set me free to start anew.
