Painted you into a corner

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I know I'll never see you again, and I've caused you lots of pain, and painted you in a corner, that's hard from to refrain. It was never my intention, to steal your love that day, but I wanted you so badly, I just couldn't stay away. I'll treasure every single moment, as they live on in my mind, oh, in another world what might have been, and in another time, I will always contemplate, Oh, if you were only mine, what a love our love would be, the grandest we could find. I would like to offer you, from the bottom of my heart, the most deep and sincere apology, so tell me where to start. Written February 4th, 2002 © on Feb 04 2002 12:00 AM PST   0 • 10
