Players

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Instantly attracted to the players, who would have no time to get to know you and don't want to anyway. They just want one thing and it is not the thing that you want. Deep feelings run deep, but lust runs on the surface, as it comes and goes with each passing beauty, your pretty boys do see. You're a prize to be won, not a passion fruit to be picked by any pretty boy who would reach for you only to take a bite, then toss you aside. Look before you leap into those pools of pain you've grown to know all too well. Written January 30th, 2002 © on Jan 30 2002 03:45 AM PST   0 • 10
