Precious gift

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

A precious gift from heaven above has been placed into our hands in the joining of our lives. And it is up to you, and it is up to I to do with this gift, what we will. "Cherish, and nurture, and care for this gift with all our power and strength, to make it the best it can be", I say, shall we do, if have me, my way, and much the same I hear you say, in your eyes, and in your touch. The keys to the Kingdom, we have to us been handed, and it is now up to us to provide the nourishment and sustenance and cultivate to sustain.
