Racing the Wind

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Racing the wind to break free, riding this road alone. Dreaming of a backseat filled with you, someone to call my own. Sun on our faces, wind in our hair, riding along without a care, but the care I feel for you, and the care you feel for me. So, I am a dreamer, this much I do know, but that will not stop the dreams. Yes, I am a dream, who don't want to let go, of these dreams that I'm dreaming to see. Written January 9th, 2002 © on Jan 09 2002 02:53 AM PST   0 • 10
