Rain on

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I did not mean to rain on your parade, and steal the smile from your face. It is what I live for, what I look forward to each time we meet. I did not mean to fill your heart with fears or doubts or make you feel uneasy, or unsure of what we have, or what I feel about you. Sometimes we will have to face issues that are a little troubling to deal with, but need to be resolved just the same, And we will become stronger as a couple, if we can resolve these issues by meeting in the middle as best we can.
