Reaching

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Reaching for my dreams and again, but now I stand alone, once more. I know these dreams so well, why can I never seem to find them. Are they out there for me somewhere, this much I do pray. From hallways long and empty rooms, comes such a hollow sound. My need , it crys out to you, nameless angel with no face. Reveal yourself to me, my love, the time it is at hand. Come to me from out of nowhere, and revive my cold blue heart. Come and warn this chill away, and fill this heart with joy. Wrap me in your arms so true, and never let me go. As we know of happiness together in love's eternal flame. Written December 25th, 2001 © on Dec 25 2001 04:35 AM PST   0 • 12
