Red Flags

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

For Red Flags, look she shall, until she finds, even if only in her mind, destine to fail every time, from the very beginning. And it just makes her hard, and harder to love, with her cynical ways. She was the red flag hunting kind and she would never be satisfied until she found one. I think she had a throw down red flag in her pocket just in case she couldn't find one. I run every time I see one of these hunters, for any relationship they engage in is destine to fail. Oh, the price she pays for being burned so many times. Written January 29th, 2002 © on Jan 29 2002 01:09 AM PST   0 • 10
