Slap the balloon

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

At a party the other night I started a game of keep the balloon in the air. It soon turned to a slapping frenzy. And I thought of how it takes two to make it work or not. ~~~~~~ Slap the balloon, keep it in the air, don't let it touch the ground, don't let it, don't you dare. For should it touch the earth, you'll hear a popping sound and the game, it will then be over, then the players, they shall frown, so it is up to you and it is up to me, only we as a team can help the balloon break free.
