tender of heart

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I am but a man, tender of heart, dreaming of love everlasting. And you come to me and we touch, as you hold me and I hold you. You stir in my heart emotion not known for a time so long. I now must wonder and question the sincerity of your desire. The part of me that has no fear, has a desire to hold you near, as my tender part that knows of pain tries to see what is to gain. So take the time to know me well, and where we go, that time will tell. Written March 19th, 2002 © on Mar 19 2002 02:36 AM PST   0 • 10
